European Handball Madness!!

Sunday I went to watch a hand ball match, it is basically basketball mashed with Lacrosse with more or less full contact, minus eye gouging. Our team lost unfortunately but it was definitely way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Something about beer and sports just mix so well in Germany.

Team 'stasche (although only until tonight.)

Hand ball hooligans, similar to soccer hooligans only more drunk, loud and better at pissing off the other team.

how the goalie is supposed to stop this hurling ball with no equiptment is beyond me.

When the floor because to slippery from the blood sweat and tears (literally), they blow the horn and out runs this poor kid wearing the blue tights and mops it up.
